Actually Burrows wasted no time going after Brown , who is down on the ice covered by the official when the camera pans there , he then mixes it up with the next closest Kings player who happens to be Kopitar

Hate all you want , if it was Brown on the receiving end of that LEGAL hard hit , there would have been a similar reaction the other way

Just read an atricle on a sports site that said teh NHL has lost over $240mil over the last 2 seasons. Some teams made a profit, most did not, but as a whole $240mil in the black. This is either true or a way of the owners trying to get fans behind them for wanting to cut salaries. If it is true, holy shit! The last thing the NHL needs is another lockout.

 

even if it's true the owners get write offs for losing money, players don't for getting a pay cut. its all bs

 

The Avs need all the help they can get from the media, they're still gonna be terrible this year though
