3 weeks and tons of fun. No plans for suspension changes. It's GTG as is for what I need-I probably use it a lot more for what it's intended to do than most people with lifts in my area. Brute Force incoming, debating where to place a Morimoto Light Bar, OEM rack with Baja Rack on the way. Snug Top Slim on. Factory matched grill done.

I bought a red double cab automatic back in June. Has entune/nav, towing package, etc. I added black tube steps, cargo divider, bug shield, tonneau cover and swapped out the Toyota all weather mats for a set of Weather Techs.

I just turned over 5000 miles this week. I really like this truck. It rides exceptionally well on the highway and performs great off road. Looking forward to some heavy snow this winter to see how well it does with that.

That's a TX pro (or whatever) with baja decals on it. The Baja was only made in 2012 (maybe 2013, too.) but definitely not before.

Don't ruin your nice and expensive truck with something as shitty as a 3" body lift. If you need to clear bigger tires, get a 1" body lift or something. 3" is dangerous and looks horrible!!! Don't ruin your pretty truck!

You could throw on 1/2" top spacers in the front, that would give you an extra inch lift. In the back you could add a 1" block or something. These two options would be the cheapest route to gain some lift for bigger tires. Def don't do a big body lift though... it will not look right.

Curious what others are getting for MPG? Because right now I am barely getting 14MPG driving it normal. I've got about 850 miles on her now. I am not expecting Prius MPG, but I'd expect it to better than my Tundra with a 5.7L and 35" Tires...

I also noticed some new things on this truck, compared to my 2009 Tacoma.

    - Emissions blower.
    - Brakes are MUCH better.
    - Lower A-Arm looks different.
    - Truck rides surprisingly well for being "lifted".
    - Black paint is much better (Black Tundra's would get swirl marks if you looked at it wrong.) Toyota defiantly changed something up. (It's true black, not the black sand pearl.) There were some light water marks that I hit with some light compounding, but it took a little more pressure than I am use to with a Toyota.
