good idea ^^ how well does the plati-dip hold up on the mirrors? do you need to prep the mirrors before painting them?

holds up fine and looks good, I just rinsed with water then sprayed a little simple green on gave it a little scrub-a-dub-dub then rinse with water again till it doesn't create any more suds, let dry. Then tape the glass part off, put about 3-4 solid layers on and peal the tape off the glass in about 5-10 mins so the pasti-dip doesn't set up too much before you peal the edges.

Haha thanks man but na it hasnt been repainted, when i bought about a year ago it was a REALLY UGLY burnt orange/redish mess. So one day a few months back i spent no joke 12 hours with a drill buffer and rubbing compound...

The rubbing compound was going on white and coming off red but it really did the job and i wax it about every 2-3 weeks
