What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I hate those b/c everytime I do seems like when I get home I end up hand washing it again b/c it still looks like crap lol

Picked up my powder coated All Pro rear bumper.

 

I just strapped on a new set of Bridgestone Dueler Revo II's and they look AWESOME! Can't wait to take them to task this winter, they're bound to handle snow and rain better than the OEM Dunlops.

 

I had Dueler Revos on my old Jeep TJ (Please don't hold that against me). They handled the snow and wet pavement very good.

 

Washed, waxed, installed cap,removed front mud flaps, installed Level 8 Trackers wrapped in 285/75/16, loaded her up and went camping for the weekend! Guess she needs another bath.

Thanks, I am loving them... even got love from the domestic owners at the lake. The wheels are near-perfect match. And they are lightweight so it feels like the truck has a lil extra juice.

Did some hooning and doughnuts, and hill climb stuff. One dude there had a base 4wd 4cyl MGM taco and wheeled it to where his rear bumper almost came off along with a mudflap. I power-washed it today and its still dirty. I need to hand wash it and spend like 10 hours getting all the camping dirt out of it

I Love my revoII's. upgraded to 265/70R17 and these tires are just as quiet as the stock dueler HT's. Can't speak for snow, but they do very well in sand

 

Cleaned out the headlights! Mine were yellowing and i ordered this new TV product and it did the job. I'd recommend it, its called wipenew (getwipenew.com). Now my lights are nice and crisp.

 

At revo II's are awesome in bad weather. Had em 2 years now and great off and on rd.

 

What wheels are they? Do you know how much they weigh?

 

Just did the plugs in my 2010 today. Just under the 31k mark. Did all other stuff last week inlc. rear diff. fluid change.

 

Rotated the tires... Prolly gonna need to do the plus and rear differential fluid next. I bought the truck used, and I have no way to know if thus stuff has been done. It's am '05 with 87,000 miles. I have done oils and rotated tires... What else do I need to do?

 

Since you guys give me entertainment on a daily basis by listing all the new mods, I figured I would share some recent work. Please feel free to PM if you have any questions that I might be able to help with from my experience with the following:

I bought a tailgate reinforcement plate (Info Here) because I often transport bikes (dirt and street). After getting it test fit I decided to have it primered with a self etching primer and then have the top part line-x'd (I reused the stock panel for an OEM look).

Put in a blue logic system, wiring the mic to the cover above the rear view mirror. This drastically improved the sound quality of the mic.

Installed an oil catch can in the drivers side fender well. I went with a company called Saikou Michi because of the quality, durability (important because of exposed location) and customization. They are made to order and he can pretty much fab any setup you require.

They are BFD wheels 18x9" and they are 22lbs each, much lighter than stock. And they poke like you are running spacers. They are great wheels. Even my spare matches.
