Deckplate mod help!

    Ok, soooooo i have been researching about the deckplate mod.
    i am wondering are there any side effects to anybodies tacoma after doing the deckplate mod.
    what good things happen to the taco after putting in the deckplate mod and so on and so fourth.

    im pretty much just asking for facts about the deckplate mod.

    do it man.........dyno-proven horsepower gain...and its consistent too. truck will breathe easier.....it'll get alot more air....and the sound is great!

    put in a good drop in filter....like the afe pro dry s, and switch over to synthetic oils.

    the only negative side effects show up if you dont use the sensor safe silicon...then your check engine light might come on

    yeah....use some sensor safe silicone on the deckplate. let it dry for a while..............i left mine outta my truck for a couple hours to dry.

    its just a silicone,around $3 or so a tube,that you can get from autozone or even walmart carries it too.
