Lots to come at some point. Hopefully soon.
So my girlfriend Liz decided to break up with me after four years. We dated throughout all of college and got along great. Just weeks ago we were talking about taking things to the next level sometime in the future (because she really wanted this). Now she says she wants her own space and doesn't want to be involved with anybody. Everything was GREAT so how can a 180 like this happen so fast?????? I have never felt pain like this in my life. Can't sleep, can’t eat, can’t do anything...it just never goes away, ever. That was my life right there and POOFFF gone. Sorry to vent but just every breath hurts right now. Any thoughts would be great. Should I just let her be for a few months or is this officially the end?

Just take it easy....Let everything calm down. In a few days, talk about it. Sorry to hear, but just take it day by day for now.

Very painful man. Ive been there. There is really nothing you can do. Let her be, dont go after her. Let her feel what life is like without you and maby she will come crawling back realizing she has made a mistake. real sorry to hear it. take a while for yourself and then go meet somebody new. Its not the end.

    Sorry to hear man. :(

Maybe all the emotions she was feeling overwhelmed her and she freaked and made a quick decision. I'd say just give it some time man.

I hope you feel better tomorrow.

Hey man, I hate to hear that. I know it sucks! So heres my advice after a chick screwed me over. They're all crazy!!! its a fact and most will eventually admit it. They always say how they don't want an ass hole, but they make us into an ass hole. So my new theory on women is, THE 3 F's. FIND them, FUCK them, and FORGET them!!! Thats what I learned in my 27 years on earth. :D Hope this helps someone..

i agree with this for the most part. Breathe and keep busy. Don't go chasing tail because that'll F up any chance you could have to get her back. Just be cool - don't be that guy who calls her a TON or be desperate because no girl respects that. SOMEHOW try and not call her a bunch. For now, let her do what she feels she needs to do. It is SO easy to say than to do.. but if that's what she feels she needs, then let her do what she needs; and if she finds that she also needs you back in her life, then you guys will be stronger than ever. If not.. i'm sorry - it'll hurt for a long while but just know it won't kill you.. it'll just feel like it will. Sorry dude - good luck.

Sorry to hear the bad news bro. Hang in there and try to keep a forward looking perspective. Like others have said before, stuff happens for a reason. If it is not meant to be, then it is not meant to be. Just imagine how much worse things could be. Imagine you had taken it to the next level and gotten married and then she leaves with not only half of your heart, but half of your net worth. I know it is hard but try to stay positive, find some friends to talk it over with. Get your toxic emotions out and you will feel better. The sun will always rise tomorrow.

I was there about a year ago. I let her have some free time, I went off and had some good times with the boys and then after about a month or so started talking about what happend blah blah skipped the mushy part. Now we are back together and thinking about moving in together. That break up was probably the best thing that happened now. Got a lot of things out of the closet that were there but we never seemed to talk about.

Not saying it works for everyone and it is really hard to take that month off, but it showed her what I was to her and vise versa. If you really want it to work you have to give her some time. I just kept my calm and took the time to hang out with my friends which in the end turned out better we were just spending too much time together and not enough with other people.....or thats what I think happened.....who fricken knows...stupid women...

best of luck to you man!

Take some time to think abou it. Alot of us were in similar situations. I had a 1yr old daughter and was enguaged. We had been dating for 5 yrs then had a child on accident kinda. Then all of a sudden the 6th year she is like its over. I was like you for a while, but now 4yrs later its all good. You never know where you might end up.
