Looks much better without the big Baja stickers on the side.

I will take pictures today of all the suspension when I get to work today. Mustang was pretty fun but this fits my lifestyle a whole lot better.

    http://bayareametalfab.com/Silders.html

There is a group buy on the site that I think ends today for 20% off.
    Look here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/ba...oup-buy-up-20-off-ends-9-4-2012-12-01am.html

If I get a bonus this year there is a serious chance on getting that supercharger.

Thanks it came with a Chrome Grille. Which I still need to sell on Craigslist and on here. Yeah the stickers didn't really bother me at first but once they came off I liked the look much more!

    Thanks everyone for the compliments!

    3 + 1 = 4 leaf pack.

Good to see that the TRD team installed the 4 leaf pack on the Baja edition.

LoadedTaco, it may be to soon to tell, but do you feel any steering wheel vibration or front differential vibration? Do you feel any vibration from the driveshaft?

I saw a thread about that so I have been looking for it. So far I have not noticed it. However my brothers FJ and Dads Tundra both do it around 70. It is real subtle on both. Honestly, both of them may just be due for a balance, rotation and alignment.

That is good. Let us know if you feel any shimmy, shake, or vibration in the future.

I'm waiting to see if Toyota will make the Baja edition in the Magnetic Gray Metallic (MGM) color for MY 2013.

i've always ragged on the new bajas but the route you're going and the progress so far, it looks awesome! plus you convinced me to get a skid plate for my red '12 sport haha (though i like the silver on red look personally). keep up the good work!

Thanks Loaded for the pics. I was just looking for general pics like you got, was most interested in seeing the cv angle of the front suspension.

I see you are from my area of IL. I work in Dupage and live in Cook.

Better get that truck undercoated in some way.

Mine is a 06 and there is not any paint left anywhere under the truck. Toyota is a joke at coating their frames. I get rust stains on my driveway in the winter if I leave my truck in my drive. I will be tackling mine before winter hits again.

How do you go about doing something like that? I have never done that but sounds like something I am interested in. O and Yeah I live in lombard and work in Broadview so you are not far at all.

That is the plan as long as I get a bonus I am waiting on this year. It wont be till next spring though. I love the wine and the extra power.

Coating where on the underbody though? I have looked under mine and it seems all good, I got a 2012 also and the underbody doesn't seem like it lacks an undercoating?

Toyota just uses a paint. If you live in any area that uses salt for snow it will be gone in no time. It is a piss poor paint that toyota slaps on the their vehicles.

Loaded taco, you can go to toyota to get it coated, ziebart, or any number of truck shops that will do it for you. Other option is to do it yourself.

Since your truck is brand new and the factory coating has not broken up yet you can easily do it yourself. Alot of options for undercoating products.

That coating is not even undercoating it is barely considered paint in my eyes.
