STP Injector cleaner

Has anyone put in STP fuel injector cleaner into their trucks? They had a two for one deal at autozone so i bought them and poured in a bottle of that stuff with a full tank and i was wondering if anyone has used this stuff

 

i use seafoam if i want the plecebo of cleaning the injectors

 

Too late, it couldnt be that bad, whats gonna happen??

 

What about bp? I try to use shell but forget to go there and instead head to bp. But i figured hey after all these years of using 87 octane gas, it could help. I plan on putting it in my brothers tacoma and my brothers 4Runner

 

i run a bottle of techron every oil change...........and i do the occasional seafoaming..................dgerm....no placebo affect there man.................and everything is good. most of those "fuel injectors" are pure bullshit of ya ask me.

yep.....seafoamed it at about 20k miles......smoked and did its normal thing.

 

How did you do it on the 06, i'd like to do that but no one has a vid on how to do it on youtube.

 

seafoaming is good. other stuff no. octane booster especially. Some even ruin your o2 and catalytic converters

i did it like i normally do....thru the brake booster line. also cleaned my tb with seafoam deep creep.

 

All of it thru the brake booster? I thought you pour some in the gas, some in the oil, and some in the brake booster

 

i dont add any at all to the oil. no need when you are running synhetic....not to mention....the motor is way to new,as far as im concerned, to use it in the motor. i usually run half a can thru the brake booster....half in the gas tank.
