Actually that was a pretty sketch move... lifting the front end up like that could have gone a lot worse.... good thing it wasn't supercharged...

On a side note, truck is at the dealer. The rear end is wondering like crazy and you can hear a 'thunk' noise when turning or hitting the breaks.

So I'm driving the wife's custom civic this morning. Man it feels weird sitting 3 inches off the ground again.

I hate Big Two Toyota.

 

The service manager is a douche. dad had an issue with them not to long back also

 

Took my truck in because it is wandering like crazy in the rear end. They stated that my rims I bought off of Ollie are too small, the caliper is hitting the balance weights and its causing viberation but they can't feel the wondering.

I told the service manager (Shane), "Take it up to 75mph, let go of the wheel. Call me after you tow the wrecked truck back to the shop so I can come strip my stereo out of it. You will crash if you let go of the wheel for a few seconds, how the hell can you not feel this wander? Also, please explain how wheel wights cause wandering???"

Of course he couldn't answer. So I asked them to check wheel balance since that's what they think the issue is. They are trying to charge me 49$ just to fucking check the balance! I have the full warranty.

Their suggestion is to have me sit in the truck with the suspension tech so I can point out the wander I feel since they can't seem to feel it.

Needless to say I'm not going to take it back to Big Two and going to the Tempe Autoplex Toyota from now on.

 

Dealerships piss me off sometimes man. Why cant they try not scamming for once? I mean cmon we pay you and we expect you to do it!

 

I totally agree with you that the dealers suck. It's always a battle with them over everything.

They also told me just now when they called to tell me to come pick it up "By the way, removing your seat belt indicator light and buzzer is illegal in this state."

I laughed really hard at that one.

 

The closest toyota dealer to me (Right Toyota) keeps mailing me letters saying that they want my old SAS'd pickup still haha. Its been 5 months and they still keep sending me gift cards to walmart,subway, and other places.... Just so that id come trade in for a new shiny yota or scion. It gets kind of annoying, just got another letter just now from them too

 

I just chuckled when i read that too

 

What'd they do to you?

 

Wow. They have been good to me so far, but I have only delt with them once when I brought my old truck there for my check engine light.. Anyways im glad you found a great dealer and hope it stays that way.

 

I hope I never have to go to a dealer for anything...

Yeah im done with dealers too. If i cant fix it myself then i just take my truck to my shop that will do it for cheap

 

How would you guys think putting the roof bar (things) that sarah has on her truck roof.. I love the Ind blue with those on

 

do it. then put an LED bar up there.. and give me the other LED bar...
