My AC apparently has been dripping water from behind the glove box down on my floor mat. And the blower motor makes a weird sound. Kinda sounds like a plastic trash bag rattleing around inside there. and it gets really loud whenever i put on the brakes or i turn the wheels of my truck. Anybody got any ideas as to what is causing this? i dont think its the blower motor. clogged AC drip line maybe?

If I were you, I would take off the glove box and take a look around. I personally have never heard something like this before.

yeah i did. i took out the cabin air filter and looked at it. the cabin air filter was bowed almost as if the suction from the blower motor warped it. i dont think thats normal at all though. drove around the block with the ac on full blast and got in the garage and saw some condensation on the outside of the air box underneath the dash

This ^^^ Your box is full of water ( condensate ). Locate the drain hose under the truck and rrun a wire through it to unplug the hose.

drain is plugged, or the line going into the drain box has become dislodged. i accidentally dislodged mine on my scion, ran between the floor and the carpet. had to pull out the entire floor to let it dry.

worst-case the box for the drain is cracked either way, get in there and use those eyes.

hahaha as soon as I can get ahold of a scion FRS....the truck will be on the market. but until then no dice. And yeah i got under the truck last night and took some wire and shoved up the drain pipe. ALOT of water started pouring out of the tube so you were right. it was just a plugged line. Ran the AC this morning on full blast and everything and no leaking from the glove box. thanks again

Where does this drain hose drain water from?

FSM shows "No.1 Cooler Unit Drain Hose." What could the piece of cleaning wire hit up inside there? Just curious.

From the HVAC box, below the evaporator. I would bend the end of the wire over to prevent damage to the evaporator, or heater core, and go gently. You'd be surprised what can collect in there, even with a cab air filter.

On the trucks I work on, plugging is no uncommon with dirty work environments, I've drained over a gallon of water from some.

yeah i did the AC line extension mod so when i did take a wire up there, it felt like i punctured through a bunch of pollen and dust that had coagulated in the pipe. i had prolly close to a quart of water drain out
