I believe you can get black as a solid color w/o piping.

however...if I understand it correctly, other colors done solid require full piping.

Only OEM options so far...mods are on the horizon.
Wet Okole is in Costa Mesa, CA.

Is the GB subject to tax? Pretty sure it's 7.75% tax in that county. For those living in California is it basicly a 12.25% discount?

Just curious to know if this GB is taxable, or is it 20% off for everyone, regardless of location?

I might back out. Considering a 09 to 2013 trade this week and if I do I'm going leather. Even if I keep the 09, I think a nice set of perforated catzkins will be amazing :D

Well see. My reasoning is this: we are all buying these because either we want to change our interior color scheme, or we actually need to protect the truck because we beat the hell out of it... or both of the above. I am doing this mostly for cosmetic reasons and for the added benefit of protection too, but my seats overall hold up well for my basic use. Not a work truck or anything. I take care of it already. People hate leather cause its hot and sticky in summer.... news flash!! So are these!! not sticky like leather and not burning hot to touch it when you first get in like leather, BUT once you start driving, these things make ur ass and back sweat. I'd rather be hit when I first get in then turn the AC on then be nice when I get it and have my seats make my ass sweat while i drive..

If you don't believe me, ask many members, they will all confirm this. Not trying to talk anyone out of these, just explaining my thought process so others have the chance to see all sides of the story before commuting.

For only about $200 more I can get full leather... its not for everyone, but I love it. But don't take me off the list just yet! This all still up in the air

You know, I was considering the leather too because they do look great on the seat, almost as if it came factory.

I heard that WO's were hot, and boy does it get hot here, triple digits can hold for a week - but I didn't know the heat maintains with you for the duration of the ride.

    Something to consider, thanks.

GLW purchase of your new truck.

Thanks! and yeah Ive heard from a few member that during the heat, you will sweat enough to leave a wet mark on the seat from your butt and/or back (graphic sorry just relaying the massage) Most people put a towel down on top of the WO during summer. I just figure if I have to go through all that, Id rather just deal with the heat from leather. Harder to keep clean, but i like em better IMO

I live in the humidity capital of the country...Florida!

you mean the wet okole's are gonna make my but and back sweat???

if this is the case...I also may pass and keep using towels on my seat when I'm working out of the truck.

or...just wear 'em out and get the leather...or a new truck in 2-3 years :D

That's what I thought at first. However, the black outside is part of the "solid color" and "half piping" options. For full piping, the seat is a solid color (7 colors to choose from) and you pick the piping color (any color). So if you want a completely solid color, you can have it with full piping if you pick one of the 7 color options and choose the piping as the same color. It took some digging, researching and calling but this was confirmed by WO. Just FYI for anyone looking for a completely solid color (not the "solid color" they refer to that has the black outsides).

Some people say that the Wet Okole make you sweat as well. I've also heard that when you're wearing shorts it can pull your leg hair lol. Screw the critics though, I'm still getting them.

hmmm. I was concerned about the sweat thing too. Are there any quality seat covers that breathe better? Having a sweating arse when I drive is not exactly my idea of pleasant. Is leather worse? better?

Just trying to get a rough estimate of what the total would be. I think when I built mine on theory site.. It came out to right under 600 IIRC
