New Mexico Owners BS Thread

Hi all,

I will be driving though your great state tomorrow and the next, can you all recommend your favorite places to eat in Albuquerque and Santa Fe? Also, a nice clean, safe hotel in Santa Fe?

If you see a Taco with surfboards on it driving around, it's me! Here's my other post re: driving across the country...

haha well yea i like learning this stuff its just hard as shit and i feel stupid in them. im doing Mechanical engineering. did you do your engineering at UNM?

i wouldnt worry about painting it till you selll it. if you wheel it right, it will have plenty more scratches

 

If you like new mexican food try out Satties .. Very good (Albuquerque) ... Blakes Lottaburger (kinda fast foody but still delicious) ummmmm Gardunos, Dions (great pizza salads and subs) make sure you get their ranch and lemonade, so good!

 

In Albuquerque: Grandma's K&I Diner, Dion's, Blake's Lotaburger, Los Compadres.
In Santa Fe: Bobcat Bites, easily the best burger you can get in the state.

As far as a hotel in Santa Fe, if you don't mind spending a little cash, the La Posada or the La Fonda are probably good choices. I'm more of a Motel 6 or Super 8 kind of guy myself.

Pizza in abq straight up pizza I have been converted thanks to ghost as I can no longer eat dions pizza.

Eff santa fe hotels make a 10min drive to buffalo thunder casino!

 

I'm not upset about it at all, I bought the truck to wheel with it, so scratches are expected. Just wanted to see how much it would cost to fix, and if it was reasonable I would do it.

 

Eh, I'm not a fan of Casino hotels, I generally try to avoid them.

Sadies is NEW MEXICAN food not Mexican.

Also I've always found that Gardunios tastes like poop.

Dions is pretty good though, especially for a chain. Raymoondo won't agree though

 

Dion's has great subs, their pizza isn't bad, but there is definitely better out there. Sadie's is over-priced and just isn't that good, IMO

Really bro? No way lol Sadie's is amazing... Ten times better than any other new Mexican place (especially el pinto)

What's wrong with dions?

 

Dions ehh sauce n cheese no taste, id rather have some french bread with melted effin string cheese!
