    I have a map in my glove box with sketches all over it, I'll bring it to camp to give everyone an idea where we can play...what we need to focus on, convincing everyone to go out to walmart and pick up a $50 CB.

    The link above......Is a pit, I personally have never been to.....

    The only time I was out there, I seen two different pits.

    One was off the west side of a trail (think 13) that goes North/South
    The other one was up on the NW corner of property somewhere...

    Goomba and ND4SPD86.....showed them to me.....;)

    A decent CB is going to be a must for 20+ trucks to get around without chaos....

    Regular Garmin/Tom-Tom/ETC... types of GPS units, are great to have also.....they show all the trails, with trail #'s ......

    My old prerunner was a manual trans..... its E-brake(hand pull) was more like a trans brake design..... i dont think this type of E-brake will do what you want.

    The auto trans E-brake should work that way tho

    i just ordered one of those firestik kits with the wire, antenna, and mount, could someone please bring their tuner? and thomas, no, i didn't listen to your advice about taking it to a shop :eek:, i like the simplicities of ordering online and having it delivered to me

    No such thing as a cb "tuner"

    What your refering to is a SWR gauge

    I have one ......and will bring it for those that know how to use it ;)

    My recommendation is to pickup a "tunable""adjustable" SWR meter/gauge from your local Radio Shack for like $15-25

    you can perminantly install it in your system.....and simply turn a knob to adjust/tune your system
    then there is no shortening antenna or coax ....... ;)

    That means the "tip" of your antenna is tunable......= can be shortened

    I'b be wiring up my CB Today. I have another CB i'm willing to part out with for 20 bucks? It's a little Cobra model. I plugged it in and it turns out. never tried it out. i also have a extra antenna cable for another 10 bucks.

    think its called : one stop CB shop

    You should go by there and have them tune your system......They do excellent work.....and shouldnt break the bank to get this done, the right way
