    I was running 265/75 16 BFG All Terrain KO with FJ rims, all stock. No rubbing! I have since installed a lift.

    What's your concern? The FJ wheels fit perfectly and stick out flush with the fender so clearance is better than the stock Tacoma wheels.

    Can't confirm the backspacing at the moment, but I can tell you that it appears that my FJ TRD wheels sit further out than the stock wheels did.

    I am thinking of getting the silver ones since the gun metal is damn near impossible to find but if you do find them the price is pretty steep. I did have a dealer tell me on the silver the backspacing is 5" and offset is 15mm, if that helps any.

    Hey fellas, I've got a set of these on the way and although I read all 4 pages, it seems that a few of you (without a lift) are running 265/70's and some are running 265/75's. Any particular reason some of you chose the smaller tire?

    I currently have the sport rims with 265/70/17's on it and so I'm wondering why some of you went with the 265/70's instead of the 265/75's? It appears the 265/75's are identical in width and diameter to what I have now and I don't have any rubbing issues so wanted to make sure I'm not missing something prior to installing these.

    And to maintain the validity of this thread, I will post pics once I have the rims installed.

    I believe the 265/75s are the max size without a lift for the 16 inch rims, where as 265/70s are for the 17 inch rims, before you need to start trimming.

    hey fellas, got mine and wanted to confirm something before going forward. Does the inside of the rim list both part numbers, in other words, is the rim marked with both
    $326 PT904-35070 Genuine TRD 16" Alloy Wheel for Toyota Tacoma and FJ Cruiser-New, OEM
    PT904-35070 in raised metal and then have an additional factory applied "sticker" that lists PT904-35071? I have searched all over and can't find the answer and want to make sure that the ones I have received are actually factory anthracite and not someone's homemade version...thanks

    I bet they are legit. The wheels are all the same, it is the color that changes the 70 and 71 on the part number. I can confirm this is the way it was on mine from the factory.
