    So apparently it is a FUCKING BITCH to remove the rear shocks because of a stupid bolt that is almost impossible to remove!!
    resulting of failure to install the 5100's. Trying again tomorrow

    For sure! Badass. Whose stack opinion did you go with?

    By that time I might have a set of doubles to rebuild :p

    Someone in the LT thread said that the factory bumps dont need to be removed for running a bypass Paden.

    Jason, confirmation on that?

    yeah, i saw that. Now that i thought about it, I think they were prepping for hydro bumps when they took mine off lol.

    We did that. It couldn't hold the nut.

    I have the factory set but with the spindles my upper arm and uniball cup hit my fender wells. Come to find out the coilovers are vavled 30/50 which is apparently extremely light compression....meant to be run with a bypass. Wish I knew that beforehand so i could have asked Fox for different compression valving when they made the shocks.

    Id rather mess with valving on a bypass then the coil-overs personally, I know that the lazy unnecessary way.

    Nut? Its been a while since I have done it but I put the locking vise grips on the shaft, under the boot.

    That was on option for us. We tried keeping that the very last option, because of me trying to sell them to buy other stuff.

    My coil over came with 40/90 and I thought that was soft.

    Haha well 30/50 I feel is stupid. I really should have somehow asked better questions to get to this before I got the kit.

    Any idea on how I could/should start with valving the bypass? (if I get it)
