his rear is higher up then the front. He wants it level.

if he has the adjustable CO then he can just crank up the CO..i just want to know the spring rate before totally suggesting that as if its a 650lb coil its gonna really stiffen the ride up. If he got the 550 or whatever the options are..i can't remember, then it won't be as stiff if he cranks them up a bit.

I got a quick question and hopefully you guys can help so i dont have to start a new thread. Im lifting the front with eibachs and 5100s. But my question is when i lift the rear and i order wheelers 1.5 do i need new shackles? Yes or no. If I dont do i need new bushings? Will i need bushings for the Main Spring Eye Bushing?

    3inch toytec coils 5100's, aal(soon to be replaced), 33/12.5 km2s, + a money hole...
i would recommend more than a 1.5 aal cause my two inch didnt come close to leveling the truck and then oce it sags...

yea a 1'' lift shackle and 1.5 or 2'' AAL would be good. Plus you'd get some nice droop out the rear leafs with the longer shackles  i love my longer shackles.

i would get new front bushings for sure, might as well while they are apart.

id just wait to get new leafs to get new rear bushings tho

Eibachs give more the 3'' of lift. Your probably luck to be a 2'' with old saggy coils.

Wait so your getting the Wheelers 5 pack too?

If you get the 5 pack and add the AAL you should be level or a slight rake.

my old setup was Wheelers 5 pack, Wheelers AAL and 1'' lift shackles and i had a good rake to it. Gave me about 4-4.5'' lift out back.

still on that setup but with an added Skyjacker leaf so now i have like 5 or more inches of lift out back.

Yes I know, but he made it sound like his truck is way off of level. I would think with another inch of lift in the front it would at least be close

correct, usually 1'' more up front merits a level stance.

Mine was 21" with flat stock leafs.

I recommend a call to wheelers. They will be glad to answer all your questions. They are very knowledgeable about their products and reasonable to deal with.

If you want a level stance, you usually want around 1'' more lift up front then out back.

In your own instance, your on stock coils that were mostly likely tired and saggy to begin with so your most like not getting a full 2.5'' of lift. Same goes for the rear as an AAL in saggy old leafs doesn't make them new.

And there is just the fact that its always give or take up to about half an inch in variation to other peoples truck. No ones is the same and they all respond different.

So yea, who knows why you sit really level. But the fact is that you still want more front lift then rear to sit level..usually around 1'' or so.

Here are my goods that came in today... eibachs
    1. I understand to run the bilsteins @ zero with these but i really want to run them at .85 so my truck is level, what is the smartest thing to do?
    2. I have been driving for months without an alignment, went to get one yesterday and the shop said i had a bad tie rod, and wouldnt touch it
    3. Does anyone think that they may have used this as an excuse because they couldnt get the alignment perfect b/c of the lift i have?
    4. One last thing i notice my left cv boot has a tear in it when my wheel is cranked all the way to right? does this have a/t to do with the tie rod? or would a boot slide mod be all that is needed for a fix?

    any helpful advice is appreciated!
