    hahaha, got you guys!

but seriously I've got a concern about a rhythmic humming and vibration coming from the front of my truck. I wish I could describe it better but it sounds like hmmmmmm...1 second pause...hmmmmmm and so on. Or a maybe a better description of the sound is it sounds like older 4x4's do while driving with the transfer case engaged. I've checked to make sure mine wasn't engaged and even took out the front drive shaft to ensure it couldn't be that and still have this noise and vibration coming through the steering wheel.

Perhaps it really is just tire drone, but this started happening about 3 weeks ago, and I've have the tires for almost 2 months now and there was no drone before.

Is this noise coming from wheel bearings going to shit, or am I just being dumb? :notsure:

if you've been off roading your alignment might be out of whack? idk though, do you have any steering wheel wobble?

    offroading?:spy:

I do need to get an alignment, pulls left, no wobble in the steering wheel. Could the alignment really be whats causing this?

Alignment, tire balance out of whack, are you using wheel spacers ? Do you have aftermarket wheels? Lots of variables here.

Our trucks are the same 07 sr5 4x4. I get that hum while driving on the highway only. I know what you mean with the sound. It could be the driveshaft. I had a friend with an 08 with a really bad driveshaft hum and dealership fixed it as there was a TSB out.

no spacers, 16x8.5 wheels. I was thinking about tire balancing too, when they were put on, i've never seen so many weights put on a wheel! stupid falkens! probably wouldn't hurt to rebalance all 4 and get that alignment

Yeah man it's gotta be your alignment, or maybe your tires are wearing unevenly? Have them rotated as well

I get a humming noise sometimes too..... sometimes at highway speed, sometimes just driving around the city..... I just had my tires rotated today and they said my tires look good with even wear, so i dont think it's my alignment.....

This started happening a year ago.... Oh well.... as long as she runs and has no issues, I'm ok with it
