Oil Change, tire rotation, car wash, vacuum, some armor all inside, some weather stripping to get rid of some of the leaks from the bakflip into the bed of the truck during the rain

 

Made my first payment this morning. Oh, and this happened on the way to work...Not happy!

In 2.5 Years I replaced 2 Windshields on my 2009 Tacoma, and got a star the 3 month of owning my Tundra.

Added a ScanGaugeII to my Taco today.

 

VERY nice, like how it blends with the side moldings rather than covering them up.

 

Finished up my retrofit!

 

It was a rock the size of a baseball. Scared the crap out of me. I was going about 75-80mph when it happened. Safelite's on their way to repair it.

 

Oh and a new set of Bosch windshield wipers. Since when did they start costing 50.00 for a set geeez

New: pads, rotors, drums, shoes, Crown lines front and rear.

and removed the bug deflector for a cleaner look

 

and put the sock monkey TRD NJ's back on

 

Washed her, installed a bottle opener/box locks, and removed the rear mudflarps.

 

I had a similar thing happen to me. Took a rock to the windshield when my truck was still in it's first few months. It took Safelite 6 tries before they got it right. I started with two of their brand glass, then two of the next step up in quality and then a 5th try with the second level. Finally on the 6th try they gave me Toyota glass. Night and day difference. It was all wavy with the others. Apparently there must have just been a bad lot of them.

Just remember, if any part of the windshield is wavy when they put it on, you can get them to replace it. Just make sure you inspect it while they are there. It's easier to get them to replace it if the tech sees it too.

Just hard wired my radar detector to my rear view mirror power source! Much cleaner look now!
