The TRD leather knobs as n eBay all day long for around 35 or so, in 5-spd, might check there,

But I'm with ya on having a leather knob that was OEM, maybe an older 4runner knob would look and feel good?

Mine kept doing that, couldn't get it to stay put, finally asked the dealership to fix it by doing whatever it takes when I was in there getting my last chance warranty work done. Not sure what they did, but it hasn't moved in 6 months. It used to fall down into the console constantly.

I've been looking at getting some from Avid but I don't want to deal with painting them. Let me know when you sell them. I'd definitely be interested if they're in good shape.

That's getting out there and using it.

I like the gloss black on the steelies but the stock silver centercaps seems too light to my eye now. If you blacked them, though, that'd be too much - not enough contrast. Perhaps a dark gunmetal grey, or a multi-grey and black splatter treatment on those?

This is from my trip to Westport, WA this weekend. This is the first time I actually got to use 4 wheel drive with this truck (I've only owned it 3 weeks) and first time I've been able to drive on the beach with all the other cool kids!

I am seething with jealousy right now! That river mud don't mess around!

What suspension you got on that bad boy? I got a 2.7L as well and I'm very confused as to what a good upgrade for it is.

Think you could PM a parts list so I can do some research to get an idea of the cost of a set up like yours?
