Trying to find a fair price on what to pay for the installation not including the parts. Please post your installation costs and dealership that did the install.

Stupid dealers around here want between $1000- $1200 and claim its a 9.5 hours of labor. I've seen some guys pay as little as $600

Are you looking for a fair price or a cheap price? They may not be the same. Personally I think the best approach would be to find which dealer has the most experienced mechanic, both overall and with supercharger installs, and then negotiate a price with them. Use the quotes from the other dealers to see if they will at least match the lowest quote so you can get the most experience for the best price in the area. Then tell the guy to take his time and make sure it is done right. May not be the cheapest according to the forum but could be the best value for your money.

I filled out requests online for 5 dealerships in the Chicagoland area. They varied in price by $200. But the middle one offered me a free rental. I called to make sure they had installed one before I setup the appoinment. Even though I dropped it off first thing in the morning, they needed it overnight so it saved me by having a rental. I have never had any type of check engine light since the installation or any of the other weird noises and vibrations I have read about from other owners. Couldn't be happier. Good luck!

Voted $600, I paid just under $700 for the SC install and TRD exhaust install at the same time.

I agree, this type of SC system is pretty straightforward when it comes to installation. Take a look at the instructions and I think you'll be surprise how easy it really is. Just follow it step by step and take your time.

Very simple to do, I knocked it out last Saturday in 8 hours. Although to find out that Toyota fucked up my ecu by putting on the wrong reflash. So now I have 4 cel for running rich and catalyst failure for each bank which is un drivable and Toyota claims they can do nothing for me.....waiting to hear back from the corporate office now

I thought it was pretty straight forward. I enjoy wrenching on my own vehicles. I have actually rebuilt and installed a couple of 22r/ 22re in my early years. But never tackled something like this. Im just a lil apprehensive with a $35K truck.

$600 to retain the factory warranty to me was a no brainer, I had 3 years left on my warranty though.

I still got the original flash, didn't did the pedal recall, I understand that that the pedal recall includes a new reflash and that reflash fucks up the ability to install a SC.

Now I received the recall for the spiral cable and I have to make sure they don't do the pedal recall or the accompanying reflash when I take it to the stealership, any suggestions on how to do this are appreciated.

BTW, my spiral cable haven't had a problem ever.......

OME all around. SPC UCA. This and that.
Dealership in Mesa AZ did mine in 1 day for less than $500. He said they charge it as an accessory install price which is less than normal mechanic work. Also bought the SC from them. Cheapest price on the internet.

If you DIY do you get a dealer to reflash? They probably charge an hour for that so it should run $100 or so?
