Depends where you live and if you drive with the AC on or off.

I live in Hawaii and in my previous car I drove with the windows down. The only time I sweat while driving was when I was shirtless. Basically bare skin to WOs. Just my experience though.

The reason why my husband said to get these is because right now I have towels on the seats and he can't stand the look. So I told him about the sweat issue and he said to me: "Soooo.........what are you going to do? Put -- TOWELS -- on the seat covers??"

I looked at him and said. "Well I was kinda thinking about it..."

Hooo boy. You should have seen the look on his face.

But I reassured him that it was only going to be in the Summer.

Sort of an odd set of Toyota Graphics available. Their web site shows a zillion different Ford and GM graphics, but I could not find any Toyota graphics there.

I also wish a TRD graphics without the "TOYOTA RACING DEVELOPMENT" was available.

I love leather, too, and had it in my 4Runner. The only thing I'd add is to ask you whether or not you have a dog. I do, and take him with me everywhere, including for hunting. The dirt comes off the leather really well, but the scratch marks from his nails did not.

As long as I have a dog I'll never get leather again, but that's just me. I find with the normal TRD seat covers I can at least tuck a towel into the seat and have it stay where he sits. With leather the towel would always slip out, and he'd be right back where he wanted - on the leather!

Leather is definitely nice. Just one more thing to consider.

For those with tan interior I wonder how full piping would look in a tan/taupe with dark brown piping.

This is the best I've found so far, from a ford explorer..

Can't seem to figure out if there is something for the back of a dblcb that matches the front Trd oem covers. Can anyone confirm or deny if something exists

Nope, no dog... or cat... or kids :D Just me and the lady. She hates leather, but its my truck so oh well. This is a thread that shows exactly what I am getting now instead. Also dying the center console like this as well and the seat trim pieces too. I will look sexy. Then doing the armrest and center console and steering wheel in black perforated leather as well and dying the entire carpet to black. It will be a whole new truck. All the dye is very cheap, its the leather thats gonna cost.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/207144-let-conversion-begin-p.html

and this picture gives an idea of what it will look like. just imagine black carpet too and TRD embroidery on the seats. Leather is only about $300 more than the WO's. Worth it in my opinion. (Picture belongs to the OP in the above linked thread). Also keep in mind I have a viper alarm with remote start and I will be adding the 530T window modules next week so if when the leather gets hot during summer, ill be able to roll down my windows, start the car and blast the AC for a couple minutes before getting in. Even just a minute will get all the heat out and cool the leather off. Its a huge relief of the "leather is too hot" factor.
