Lol, damn man, I have yet to be able to know when my rear ends are unfolding and I've gotten rear ended 4 or 5 times in my other car from stupidities.

As for your exhaust, more the reason why to keep the exhaust cocked sideways like stock and just get a fancy tip on it. Your setup looks nice (beforehand the rear end lol) but IDK I feel that the Taco's look good with the sideway's single exit, very clean and simple.

Straight to the rear has always been my personal preference. Everyone has there own. I havent ever been a fan of 45s.

only thing most don’t like about a hitch in all the time. is they hit their shin/knee on it. i think it’s funny because i have never done it on my truck in 16 months i have had it.. :D

Yeah I'm actually going to be doing some exhaust here real soon so I don't have much time to decide what kind of muffler I want and in what setup I want it. I am bouncing between straight out like yours or single pipe. Also I'm bouncing between a Borla ProXS muffler or the Aero Turbine 2525XL with possibly the Vibrant 12" resonator as well.

Looks like he recently got a front bumper, must have rear ended something a little lower last time. Now he can get a black hood and have a matching front end / mismatching car.

Lol good to hear your truck has only minor damage and everyone was alright. Are the tips on the trd exhausts welded on? If so and the tip is damaged it would warrant replacement. Also you should check for kinks and bends in the exhaust further ahead. I've seen it lots of times where the exhaust looks fine until you realize a big dirty kink ahead of the muffler. Another think to check out is whether or not your bumper impacted either side of you box. Hopefully it's all ok and you can just use this to get a plate bumper like everyone is suggesting. Good luck with any repairs you'll have to get done

That accord certainly didn't stand a chance! Good to see your Taco making it out relatively unscathed.

I pity anyone that rearends me, they'll be getting a face full of ATO steel. :D

x2. I get worried when followed by civics and such...if they rear end me, the driver is literally probably going to die.

I've had the same thought. These cars nowadays are meant to crumple and seeing as there's about 4 feet of overhang from rear axle to the bumper that would put the driver super close to my bumper. :(

As much as i'd like to see how the bumper would hold up, i really hope that never happens.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Why I love trucks, most cases, the car that hits one gets totaled and the truck drives away unscathed pretty much. Still, I'd rather have someone rear-end one of my old Fords, dents make them look tougher. I only had my truck 6 months and my buddy decided to cave the right rear box panel in, not using his mirrors, go figure.

The hitch might have caused more damage to his truck. It can act as a lever that bends the hitch receiver down and even bend the frame, especialy if it is an offset hitch, which is usually used on trucks.

I had this happen to me April 2011 on my wedding day! Course I was driving a '08 Silverado at that time and I had my hitch receiver in (as I always do for that reason), needless to say the VW Jetta that rear ended me got a hole in their bumper and I didn't even receive a scratch :D

Brute force bumper. That's what you need. Color match it to your truck, it'd look sick!

In PA it's against traffic laws to have a hitch in unless you're towing a trailer. I've never actually heard of someone getting ticketed for it but I do know for a fact you are to remove them. The reason being, as in this case, you would cause more damage than without it.

+1 exactly. Plus a compact vs a trunk/suv rear ...the outcome is expected
