I agree on the chrome and tires but they will sell. Plenty of people will buy them.

Yep. It looks like all those Chrysler 300, Silverado and Buick owners that buy cheap ass base models and put all that cheap ass tacky chrome shit on. People think it makes a car/truck look like a much more expensive model but it cheapens the look IMO. I don't mind a stock chrome bumper but this shit is retarded. It's a wonder John Deere hasn't came out with a "bling chariot" tractor for the US.

Actually the chrome is a natural snow repellant, and since chrome reflects sunlight pretty well they are seasonally heated mirrors :)

They sell over 100k tacos annually and probably 5% - 10% of the owners come on sites like this to get / give good ideas (to the respected owner) so not everyone buying a taco would be on the same boat to say.
    :drevil: chuckled at this comment.

Wait til you see the rims in person. I think they are ridiculous. It's a shame you can't get the "leather" softex seats as an upgrade on a non-limited model.

The luxurious limited? Lots of chrome plastic..thats o.k. easy remedy. Faux leather, better to go katzkin. What is really troubling, No sunroof, no rear coil springs, no rear disc brakes. Was looking forward to the 13 third gen. Kinda hesitant on buying a number 13 now, usually avoid that number.

    Stock. Purchased 2/17/19. Cement!
I saw one at Poway Toyota just a few days ago. Yes it did look a little odd. The chrome bumper doesn't help. To make it worth wild, how about a sunroof, folding mirrors, Xenon headlights, different taillights and/or a power rear sliding window. Hell, why not toss in a soft-landing tailgate. It was sad.

I thought it was a Tacoma going out for Halloween as a GMC.

But yes, there are lots of people who do like chrome, so I'm sure sufficient numbers of this one will sell.

Looks pretty nice to me. Glad they finally trashed that ridiculous scoop ornament.

I'd buy one in a minute if they had given it a chrome front bumper! I want my truck to look like a truck, not a car.

They might as well go out with the chrome paint job to match the (insert: door handles, bumper, mirrors, ect..). like this:[IMG]

And maybe each chrome cup holder will have cleverly placed badges!

I wouldn't buy a limited with all the chrome but people will. To each his/own, but seriously, how many badges can they put on one vehicle?!?!
