Yeah. Toyota's OEM staggering of the rear shocks is their attempt at controlling axle wrap to some degree. Relocating both shocks to the same side of the axle negates this effect to some degree, but that's not an issue when you have a 1/4" wall traction bar :)

Edit: FWIW, before the traction bar went on, I still had a tiny bit of axle wrap even with the Dakars/D29XL.

Have you thought of building a drive shaft skid off that trackbar yet?

There's a point where armor reaches sillyness. Diff skids are a good example.

At some point a driver has to make peace with:

    a) You're gonna have to pick a line
    b) All vehicles have limits - is this obstacle past the limit of the one I'm driving right now?

    neglect, mostly.
was looking at my truck today and decided i would like a roof rack as well. remembered how good this one looked and was wondering, what kind is it? i went on the google and saw some for tacomas but i don't think any of them were quite this aggressive or sharp looking. i know this thread has recently been about what bes goin on under your truck but if you get the time to find me a link for the kind you have i'd appreciate it. thanks.

UPS dropped 'em off like 6PM last night, and then it was off to the bar for opening night of NFL.

Funny thing is, I have wheels but no truck right now  My detail guy has had it since Sunday, he's doing a full 3-stage on the exterior and a full shampoo/detail on the interior. He quoted me 3 to 4 days of work. There's a chance I'll get it back today, in which case I should be able to get the new footwear on this weekend.

Must be a hell of a detail. Time to put it in a magazin/website when you get it back.

Droop. Still need spacers to keep the tires out of the shock bodies.
