I got mine done at bay custom. Got a great deal on it too. They expressed concern over the chrome bubbling up but I had no issues. Couldn't be happier.

Installed my AVS Ventshade Visors today, wish I would of done so sooner!

Also, someone told me I can tighten up a torsion bar or something along the lines of that and get an inch of lift in the front. Is this true or is this just BS coming from a Chevy owner that should of stayed in his lane? Would really like to know because this new wheel setup is still rubbing a bit.

That's what I figured, thank you. Dumb rednecks!

Other than switching to a coil setup, whats the easiest way to get a little lift out of the front?

Put coil spacers in. Quick 2 inches for under $100 and doesnt affect the ride. I just gave a set away 2 weeks ago!

885's in, 886's out. Ride is so much smoother! Used the jack compression method http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/211535-billstein-5100-easy-install-method.html after wasting 2 sets of cheap compressors. So easy, safe, and FAST! Got one slider ground down and primed.... 3 steps removed. Big progress today. Even had one of the cool cats  from Hampton stop in to tell me my CV joint was missing. can you believe he drove 35 min to harass my PreRunner.

Got my fuseblock and breaker installed today. Didn't catch anything on fire or shock myself . Need to find a way to break apart my ARB compressor and drill new holes for the mount. Thinking I might wire up one of those Cobra Mic Control CBs tomorrow and mount my RI lights and run the switch.

Morning everyone! MY dad joined the Tacoma community yesterday, he picked up a 13' Tacoma. Just a little 5 lugger to run back and forth to base with it was time to retire the corolla at 355,000miles. That 60 mile a day trip to base sure adds up!

Yes 355,000 miles original engine and trans, still runs just is getting old and its time for tires/struts again and he didn't want to put more money into it and then the engine go. Whats crazy is this is his second one, had another corolla before that he put 335,000 miles on. That one we did put a trans in at 205,000. Just keep up maintenance and take care of things and they will last, he told me yesterday hes going 300,000 on the Tacoma to!
