I am thinking of getting this muffler - http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=8020 . I was looking at this one because from what I know the bigger the muffler the more sound deadening it can produce. I was also going to remove the second cat and install this in the stock postion and just dump the exhaust over the axle. What do you guys think?

I was also wondering if the stock pipe was 2.25in?

no prob outta mine, i also have dt headers and nice solid rumble. the sound is pleasant and not intrussive, just enough to let you know its back there and others to know its not stock!

slight difference, personally by the stats on the site the super turbo is more restrictive then the ultra flo by twice as much

I was looking at the Dynomax Ultra Flo and I like the 17559. Its 20in long, which should be awesome for sound. I want a straight through design so its easy to put in place of the stock one.

magna flow muffler, k&N 77 series coldair intake
i have that same magnaflow muffler on my truck, i cut the stock muffler off and welded the magna flow on with some straight pipe and then used my old tail pipe, its so loud i have gotten pulled over twice already for it, i would probably go with a complete system instead unless you dont mind getting pulled over.
