Well on 2nd gens i can see..their LCAs aren't as beef as ours i guess. But for us..im with you, not really sure why..but wouldn't be a bad thing i guess either.

My LT LCAs will be "skidded" lol so IDGAF

I don't have a cb but im sure ill need one for this years moab trip with you guys. I was thinking about the hand held cbs well be in a tight group anyways so do you think i need an actual cb not sure where id mount it but they have gotten much smallrt.

Im rocking CBI bumpers and yeah they've taken a beating as well, that's probably putting it lightly, either way they kick ass and have ive only had to straiten the front right corner once(i let a girl drive it up escelater in moab).

I only have a dinky transfercase skid and it's hardly seen action i don't see the need for full belly pans but then again it's all about where you wheel.

 

My old hand held was like one truck in front and maybe one out back with no external antenna. With one its should be okay tho, like 1/4 mile.

and real one is well worth it tho. I have massive range on mine haha

 

All of them that are vulnerable have rounded heads, tho 2 are countersunk.

No shit. haha. He said he has put about $55,000 into it (not counting buying it in the 1st place) and I think that was before he linked the rear end.

 

Not suprised there either haha i think everyone spends that much to get their truck to the point they really want it. Know i'll be in the area of like..30k easy when the truck itself is done..then there will be a trailer build and all the camping gear and shit..

 

I'm at about $50k on mine, including initial purchase price. It was still a cheaper build than the wifey's Duramax lol. You can't take it with you...

 

Here is a couple of pics of my new setup for the front. Bilstein 5100s with my SAW coils. They are set to give me 3" of lift. My buddy custom made the new coil perches for me. Sorry about the pic quality.

Yeah there installed. I sit as high as I did before. Now I need to get some new wheels so I can run my tires. Rides great compared to what I had before.
