    I see. Thanks.

I will also use USAA as a starting point for a Tacoma with the following specs:
    Standard Bed Double Cab 4x4 4.0-Liter V6 5-Speed Automatic
TRD Off-Road Package with options (FE, OC, TW)
    Colors
    Exterior: Barcelona Red Metallic
    Interior: Sport Fabric in Graphite

Hopefully I can get a deal on it.

I just ordered a 2013 today and am waiting to find out the delivery date. Here is the run down. I feel like I got a reasonable deal for custom ordering a 13, what do you guys think?

2013 Double Cab 4x4 Nautical Blue Metallic
    4.0L V6 with 5 speed auto
TRD Off Road + Tow Package
Heavy duty all weather flooring (no carpet)
    All weather mats
    Bed mat
    Front skid plate
6.1" touch screen radio, no entune

MSRP was $33,100 and some change
Invoice was $31,100 and some change

Paid $300 under invoice ($30,800) which came to $33,100 out the door.

If you have a Costco membership they have a pre-negotiated price of +$200 on invoice for all builds of 2013 Tacomas. Not a home run, but it's haggle free.

Just goto the Costco auto website and enter which car you're interested in.

For anyone in Southern California you'll probably get contacted from the Manhattan Beach dealership. Carson Toyota was also willing to do the Costco deal as I'm now somewhat certain that a lot of dealerships will. They were also MUCH easier to work with, although I haven't finished the deal yet.

Care to elaborate on methods of manipulating the invoice? Would be helpful to be on the lookout for these.

    So I put a deposit on a 2013 today.

Here are my numbers, let me know what you guys think.

It will be a 2013 dbl cab LB 4x4
    TRD sport w/jbl and navi

    MSRP was 34,750

Final price of 32,640 + 270 dealer fee + tax and reg.

    What do you guys think?
(be honest cause I can retract my deposit still and shop elsewhere)

On a side note, inside the dealer they had a 2013 new Limited taco, the leather seats felt really nice. I didnt like the chrome wheels, mirrors ot door handles though...

I'd think you can get them down a little more. I always try to at the very least come in with an OTD price that's less than what the MSRP was.

good point, Im about even with msrp with taxes and the dealer fee but once you add in reg im about $200 over MSRP .

I might check out another dealer this week, I was very dissapointed with the two local dealers next to me here in CT , one took off $300 from MSRP then the other $500. Then they called me to come back after I left , But I just dont have the patience to deal with that. The one I went to today was in MA.

Might try another MA dealer to compare...

Agreed. I ended up not purchasing, but the one I was looking at was about $35,700 msrp and I got them down to $32,910 which is well below invoice and pretty much covers TTL. It was a 13 DCSB 4x4 TRD Sport upgrade with Entune (navi+jbl) and TRD catback exhaust.

Then they offered me $21,000 for my 2009 DCSB 4x2 with JBL 6 disk TRD Sport with 44k miles. Brought my total financed amount to about $15k including TTL but I couldn't justify going from no payment to $277 a month when I have a perfectly good truck already.

Oh and APR was Toyota's lowest at 3.98 but I got them at 2.99% for 60 months. Still had to walk away from the deal though.

Might be just a Northeast thing, but I didn't think the DCLB was offered with Entune in the 2013 models?

Right, but when I build a 2013 DCLB the only Sport package offered has no mention of JBL, Nav, or Entune but does mention that the rear view camera is linked to the rear view mirror, not an in dash monitor like the other packages. I wonder if the Toyota website is just not completed for the 2013 models just yet? I guess I will just have to check with my local dealer.

Probably just an error on their build page. I literally sat in 3 different trucks this week all long bed with entune. They make em, trust me... I almost bought one lol
