    indeed. could have been from someone carrying garbage to the dumpster (behind the fence in the top right corner of the pic).

    only other explanation I can think of would be that I didn't notice last night and it happened yesterday at the lake. the woman of the household was hauling firewood into the garage with a wagon a couple feet of my truck. I'll be back up there sometime this week and I'll check to see if the wagon matches the height of the scratches... this seems much more likely now that I think about it.

    from this pic you can tell the scratches were made right to left, the direction she would have been traveling with a load of fire wood.

    yep. insurance should cover it, but a paint job probably wouldn't be much more than my $500 deductible.
