Bald Mt. is a fun OHV trail i'm not sure which trail head you took but I took the route from Dinkey Creek (9S09) it was a tight squeeze and plenty of steps to flex lol. I haven't been to Brewer yet but i've been wanting to. Have you been to Shut eye peaks near Bass Lake...?? I recommend :D

No I haven't been yet. I went the same route up bald mtn. We turned right at that first intersectction after you get on the trail. If you haven't done it at night you should it was a lot of fun. At the top the entire valley is lit up. I had to turn around at brewer at these two seven foot tall boulders that you have to go left of then turn right behind. I'm new at wheelin if I had a little bit of help I prolly could have done it.

Well there are two routes you can go.

---Spacer lift- Most people here will steer you away from these because shit can go bad with them if you hit the dirt hard. Not recommended to go any higher than 3' in these trucks and if you do go up to 3" you will need UCA's to keep the truck from wandering on the freeway at high speeds.

---Suspension lift- The route many will go. It's quite easy and inexpensive but better than a spacer kit. The usual components are either TOYTEC coils (which are basically Eibach coils) or Old Man Emu (OME) 885x coils mounted on Bilstien 5100's

As for buying local I would rather order online. Shops here in the valley cater to those ridiculously lifted type of trucks and like to rape the wallet.

We recently installed an entire lift kit on Commies (Andrei) truck. It only took us about 6 or 8hrs to do.

Yea you can do front and rear if you want. For what it's worth I'm still rollin on stock rears except for a 3-leaf AAL until I figure out what I am gonna run back there.. It can't keep up with the front
This is also really easy as long as you have a dremel and body filler/bondo.

It doesn't matter. I had my bilsteins for about 5 months before I bought my OME coils.
