Had the new truck out on the dirt today. Some minor flexing and purdy backdrop. Duratrac's dig so well in everything I was on today! Powder, sand, gravel, and hardpack.

I have 35k on mine with at least 1/2 tread left. they should last me another 3-4 winters easily now that I have spring/summer/fall tires and swap them out.

loud IMO. My KM2's seem to be quieter and I have no clue how that could be possible.

At 70 mph all I can make out is a faint whine over stock BFG's. In town I hear no difference. The magnaflow (#16625) may have something to do with how much of the tire noise I can hear. If they're properly inflated for road cruising they are quiet, but when aired down I can see how some people would say they are loud. I have 10 ply E rated duratracs aired to 40 pounds front and 36.5 rear. If you use chalk on the outer edges of your tread you can find a good inflation point.

By the way if any of you are considering the magnaflow part # 16625, know that there is considerable cabin drone, but it really does sound good!

i have had my duratracs for 2 years now... i still have tons of treads life... I guess it depends on how you drive it... I hope I can ride those bad boys for another 2 yrs.... I would like to go with the nittro trail grappler but they dont make 265 70 16... I have looked at so many AT tires... I think duratrac makes the best looking ones....

They seem a bit soft to me.

I will be getting some DD tires and save these for camping/off road and winter.

I've got 45k on them and still half tread left. They will last. Just rotate often.

I'm a throttle stabber so things don't last long for me.

On a good note it rained like hippos and elephants yesterday.

    Rivers on the freeway.

They did not even phase these tires at 60 MPH.

Enough water to make 30' splashes to the sides.

    Hi all from Down Under,

First post but a long time reader. Have been eyeing off the Duratracs for a while now after reading through the countless opinions of others, most from this fabulous website. I dont have a Tacoma but do have the similar Toyota Hilux.

Currently running on BFG M/T KM and can tell you having surpassed 50,000km the road noise and handling is nothing short of horrible!! In actual fact the road noise kicked in after about 20,000. Cannot keep a conversion in the truck!! I know its a MT but my god its just shocking, hence the need to find an aggressive in-between...and through reading looks like the Goodyears are the way to go.

    Truck as it currently stands:
