I just installed a 3 inch lift, front spacers and rear blocks, 2008 Tacoma 4x4 double cab, long box. Heavy Metal brand lift. Looks great and drives fine but there is no down travel. With the truck sitting on level ground, both upper control arms are touching the coil springs. Clunks on small bumps. I did torque everything down with the front suspension at full drop, but I've driven it 60-70 miles and there is no change. I searched and didn't find much. Any ideas? Thanks!

The problem is your lift, 3 inch spacers in the front and blocks in the rear. thats your problem right there...

uca's are touching the coils on level ground? :annoyed: i would take that off, if not say bye bye to your balljoints and your cv's

that is terrible. Your uca's must be pushed right down. Either get that lift out pronto or get some new ucas.

Not going to slam you , but yeah sadly its the spacers in front thats doing the damage & seeing how you're a 4x best thing for you (& your truck) is dumping them & save a little more money , get some 5100's set at zero (bottom groove) & match them with some 3" Eibachs/Toytec coils in front.

As far as the back goes, you can get away with what you have for now but as soon as practical get a good AAL or a new leafpack for the 3" lift in the rear, I promise you'll be alot happier... & NO OFFROADING UNTIL YOU STRAIGHTEN OUT the UCA's rubbing the coils....

There was no sway bar relocation with the kit. I noticed in the instructions they talked about a couple pieces that relocated the whole differential lower. I didn't recieve that either.
