    Ok Guys im blowing my fuse ,when i trn on my Driving Lights ....i bought an aftermarket Bumper:D an it Had lights in it so i hooked them up ,an i have new switches on all my lights... i have one set behind the grill an two sets in the bumper an only the lil (3.5inch) ones Pop fuses :confused: any ideas why ?

    Check your grounds, make sure all the wiring is correct, and also you may have a short some where, check switches.

    If you don't hook up the wires right on the switches it can blow fuses

    Yea i got the switches wired right ...i tested all of them w a single light :D Ok if i hook up a relay.... the trigger wire go`s to the switch right ? one to the lights, one to ground, an one to batt? :rolleyes: dammmitt all my other lights work but these......

    do you have any butt connectors or conections that arent shrink wrappped/soldered.

    I had a lighting issue where the butt connectors or something was causeing a short.
    Shrinked wrapped and soldered everything I could and I was good to go.

    Sound like you got a stripped power wire somewhere that's grounding out and blowing your fuse.

    So it works with one light.. But not with all of them.. have you done the math?? How big of fuse.. How many watts are the lights.. What is the amp draw on the circuit??

    Yea i did the math they pull about 3.9amp I have a 15amp fuse I think im going to start all over ..lol Thanks for the input

    How many lights do you have?? By the amp draw these are ~50 Watt lights??

    their own switch and own fuse I assume?? what gauge of wire did you use?? Where did you tap for power??

    Are you using a relay or simply the switch??

    he said he was using a relay somewhere, how many i dont know. Hopefully three, one for each switch that he is using

    Yea, Each switch has its own fuse, an relay , well not the set i guted out an used the Factory fog Light bulbs . its on the factory switch ... an i used 14 g wire , Prob alil overe kill but made it quicker to run all the wires .lol An as far as power one set i taped into the fuse block an the other to the Batt ... Im kinda thinking one of the lights went bad ? :confused:

    That can happen.. I have seen a bad light cause breakers/fuses to pop..

    Try removing bulbs from each light on a circuit one at a time until you track down the bad light..

    At least you only have 2 lights on each one.. Some of our Ultra-Class trucks have 8 or more with multiple breakers feeding the circuit. A real P.T.A.
