    that was the good ol days. i just remembered the car looked like it was coming from the dirt road so if he hit that spot where it turns from gravel to asphalt with speed that would explain if his battery caused the fire.

    Its usually exhuast or brakes/rotors that end up causing fires when a car ends up in some brush or light fuels. Excluding when cars roll or violently crash and fuel gets dumped.

    Heh, I have seen CHP pull off the road into tall grass and start small fires. . . always good for a chuckle.
