I took my wife out to the local single track trails on sunday and had a lot of fun. She had some guts and took a few big drops that I didnt think she would even consider :D

She's riding an old ass Fuji mtn bike though. Maybe its time to upgrade her

Anyone have any suggestion on a good all mountain rear shock (7.875x2.25)? I have a RS Ario and I blow through my travel(Im 225lbs in gear) unless I set the pressure past normal sag. Must have lockout. Been looking at RS Monarch Plus RC3?

I am still on the line about buying the 11 stumpjumper for $1300.... The wife gives me the guilty, go ahead and buy it routine and I think it has stumped me. The other day I hooked the ricksaw up to pull the kids around on the Cannondale Killer V 900 and before I got on the bike (thank God) the back tire popped.......... maybe it was a sign. I definitely got my money's worth out of that bike!! And I told her that I would give her that bike, she says she doesnt need a serious offroad mt bike. Well just whats going through my head right now.... rant over........decisions decisions

if you have the cash for it, are all set on paying the bills, and can justify buying a $1300 bike then go for it

I personally dont ride enough to spend that kind of money on a bike.
Im not trying to sound like a douche and I hope it didnt come across that way

i dont think it sounds douchey? is that word? haha

i agree because honestly it sounds like a killer deal that you probably wont come across again. but definitely only get it if you can ride enough, like he said there no point in spending that much if you cant use it a lot.

Nope no deuchery there, we have been working so hard on the house with a new pool install that we have been dealing with since June. We are about 3 days away from finishing a big deck project and pouring about 15 yards of cement for a patio. So between not having much time the money is just pouring out as well.
