I would like to move banks where I don't want to drive so far to deposit. We have a Chase bank less than a mile away. Other banks are at least 5 miles.

My issue is that I have 2 mortgages. One with Chase (rental) and one with another mortgage company. The Chase, which I've been trying to sell and frankly, if my tenant moved out, I couldn't cover the mortgage myself without going broke pretty quickly.

That being said. If I wanted to go with Chase and had issues where I was having trouble paying the mortgage, can they go into my checking and take whatever money they wanted to cover the deficient bill?

I am just thinking for the future. My wife is pregnant... so who knows what the future brings!

I don't really want to refi since I have it for sale, but I would like to keep the accounts separate.

    how long on the market?
    value?
    equity?

if you are upside down...consider a short sale.

I'd definitely put another tenant if I had to. I am really hoping the house sells within the next year or so. The market is poor right now, but the oil field industry always sells houses. I don't like the landlord stuff.
