The body guard is nice, litterally fits in a pocket. Dunno how safe I'd feel about having a gun pointing at my junk all day tho:eek:

You shouldn't have anything to worry about if you have the gun inside a pocket holster. You should never put a gun in your pocket without some sort of holster.

    this.

This is what I carry. In the summer it will fit in my cargo pants pocket just fine. In the winter I carry it in a crossbreed IWB holster.
What about the people that are fucked out of their minds and keep comming after getting shot once or twice with a 9mm? I doubt that 5 or 6 shots from a .22 would stop them. Does the florida zombie guy ring a bell? What about an attacking pit bull?

The argument can go many ways. When it comes down to it you should carry what you are comfortable with and what you can justify.

This or the Kel-Tec, I have both very little difference between the two, the Ruger has a bit better fit/finish. I've often forgot I had one in my pocket in a DeSantis pocket holster.

My pocket gun is my primary on-person carry gun - a S&W 637 I bobbed. 38 +p, Speer GDHP Short Barrel. I'm carrying it right now. I find most folks who say they carry a full-size gun actually don't carry every day or even most days. I carry every day unless I'm meeting offsite somewhere that doesn't allow guns. The only time it's not in my pocket is at home when I can have a service pistol out and ready, and it's still usually with me then. I'm headed to bed in 10 minutes and my 38 is still in my pocket.

Pretty cool video on what the 135 gr GDHP does out of a snubby.

I realized a long time ago that a revolver is dead reliable and stupid-simple to use. It's much harder to jam or force out of battery than an auto at contact distance, and it's not hard to get hits at across-the-room distances.

I've got one of these and love it, they call it a 'mini glock, and a lot of sites and forums and dealers swear by them.

    Diamondback 380

I've also owned a similar Kel-Tec 380 and was happy with it as well, but like the feel and look of this a little more. Good luck!

    What are you worried about?

I carry mine in a holster, chambered, on my appendix. The bodyguard doesn't have a safety either.

also i had a tarus pt740 that ran flawless for the 500 rounds that I put through her. I know thats not a lot but ive never had a problem with it. They also offer a lifetime warranty

My bodyguard had to be sent back to the factory with less than 200 rounds through it. The slide would no longer come all the way back to chamber a round... S&W also has a great warranty
