very cool boat.bet that big 90 pushs it good.

looks like it has alot of tounge weight.

I've always wondered about the Zodiacs having a flat like is there a secondary type of floatation built into the hull if this occures?

The tongue is actually very light - the trailer has good balance. Also has trailer brakes although the Tacoma seems to have no issue with stopping - was more for traveling on mountain roads. Love dropping it in wherever we find a cool lake to explore.

The Zodiac has 7 air chambers so getting a "flat" is not a big issue, plus it is a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) which means there is actually a fiberglass boat underneath that will float on it's own. The rigid hull has a deep V so goes lightning fast in rough chop. (will do 55mph)

The inflatable tubes give it a nice soft ride and incredible stability when at anchor (you can have 7 people standing on one side and not tip) - It is what the Navy Seals and rescue teams use. Sweet fun on the water.

Just found this thread. Since I love my boat and am constantly impressed by my Tacoma (I had a 2011 sr5 dcsb 4x4 and we also have a 2007 dcsb prerunner so of course we are loyal!) I knew I had to post. I had an I/O before I got this new beast. The boat and trailer dry is 5100lbs.

My Tacoma pulls it very well, and glad I have the 4x4 as pulling up slippery ramps with the light truck is sure different than with my old GMC.
