i dont expect anyone to agree with me..i expect toyota to deliver me a clean undamaged product.. just as i would with anything i bought new.. now if it was used then none and i mean NONE of this would be an issue at all !!! im having to pay toyota 3700 bucks on top of what ive paid them already and im getting a bit less of a truck then i had bought to begin with..there lucky im not having them buy it back from me.. if that were the case id walk with more than 9 grand... hmm whats sounds better for them.. i give them 3700 or they give me 9000. if i had to give someone 9 grand or have them give me 3700 id make damn sure everything was PERFECT. so id get that 3700 bucks..maybe they dont want to make money..LOL

I agree that stuff shouldn't be falling off of it and it to be dirty when you receive it. I also think the the tires should be fixed. Is it a used truck? How many miles? how many miles were on the lemon truck? by the way love your location

Did the dealer actually DELIVER (meaning handing you the keys and congratulating you) the truck to you in that condition?

Your first post indicated you were just going to see if the truck was the one you wanted correct?

I would get in touch with toyota corp and send them the pics of how the dealer was going to hand it over to you. Do you have any pics of the carpet?

it makes no sense to me why you wouldnt make them buy it back, pocket your equity, then put that down on a new truck... the tire probably got screwed up on the trailer...

with the economy the way it is its much harded to get approved for a loan.. and if i end up going that route i wont buy a new toyota. i could buy an old 86 and have the whole drivetrain rebuilt for that kind of money..those old 22r motors are bullet proof.

Just curious why the dealer didn't replace the whole tranny in the lemon truck?

they replace the whole tailshaft assembly.. the trans was fine. thay said the reason it was leaking was from "porous metal" at the tail shaft..
