    I still have not figured out the vibration... :frusty:

    I'm having the tires rotated & balanced now. I put it on the lift at my father in laws shop to check out the driveline. I was sure the carrier bearing was shot but that's not the case. The bearing is fine and so are all the u joints.

    Hoping rotation & balance will do the trick. :pray:

    Also my shifter is pretty worn - its rattling around & has a very "watery" feel to it. I've got a spare from PSU Taco85 I'm going to install today to see if it corrects that.

    I've been showing off pics from the trip to everyone... People think I'm nuts for driving 4800 miles...

    It's a TacomaWorld thing, they just don't understand. ;)

    It started when me, Homer, Colton and Marcel were driving around...apparently the extra weight of all of us was too much for the Taco :rolleyes: It was a rather noticeable vibe too :notsure:

    I thought it was more rear :notsure: maybe it got worse or changed on the 2nd leg of Homer's 4800 mile journey.

    All over...

    Reasonably certain it's a balance issue... Will know for sure in 1/2 an hour or so.

    hmmm..i would double check your U joint Craig. If the move even a little bit..that could be the culprit..usually its the one right by the rear diff as lifting the truck puts it at a steep angle.
