you have not paid in full yet i hope? i would NOT pay full price or anything to be honest... 5 days for the front end and adding a leaf (and its wrong) should not take more than a few hours.

i feel bad for you if your parents are TOO Nice and understanding about it, Your safety as well as everyone who rides with you or on the road is at risk if this shop is incompetent and cannot do BASIC suspension work.

Its cool bro.....dont get too bent outta shape. Alteast you have the leverage over your dad when he tries to pull the whole Im older and know better crap..............I learned early that my dad is a stand up guy who busted his ass for his family to have things.......but when it came to working on cars or mechanical things in general......I would talk to my mom first lol.

You got over ruled by the boss of the house and aint nothing wrong with doing whay pops tell ya to do because really.....he was concerned about you getting hurt and at 16 I dont blame him. NOt saying he was "right" but he had your best interest.

In closing.....some will tell ya go fight for your cash....and go raise hell......Im gonna advise ya to keep cool.....relax and go over the bolts with a torque wrench. Then go rip your bad ass taco and have fun and forget about it..........good luck dude.

I feel ya man. I'm 16 and I have to ride with my mommy to and from school because my truck is in the shop for a week and a half to two weeks getting the cab repaired from a wreck. :( Oh well. It will all be worth it when I get it back.

Im not against that either......good rep is deserved as much as bad rep. They have a crap mechanic and feed their customer lip service when he had delay issues. Five days for a minor suspension install is poop.

I find it hard to believe they have one mechanic for the entire place.......and if the owner/manager said he would go over it himself then whats stopping him from getting it done himself?

Thank you! haha you're right. He did send me to the shop for safety reasons. But being the type of person he is, I cannot hang this whole ordeal over his head. If I even try to give him shit about it, he'll take my truck away and insist that he was right all along. I can hear him saying, "Just think of what would've gone wrong if we installed it ourselves" hahaha. There's really nothing I can do. Quite frankly I don't want to. I just want my damn truck back! If it was my truck, I would be raising some hell about it.

how did I miss this thread? that's hilarious...and disturbing

I mean, I'm by no means a master mechanic, but I'm pretty sure my 6 year old cousin would realize where that leaf needs to go
