installed my AAL today...

Pretty close to level - nice.

With the front brushguard and the stance with just the AAL in the rear, I'm guessing you've already worked on the front - what did you do there?

I know you mentioned tires - what size are they currently?

i got 5100s up front a 2.5....and im running 265/70/16s, but i just got back from test fitting 285/75s and the rubbed a bit but imma hammer the pinchweld and i should be fine.....its not as level as id like it to be but itll do for now.

 

If I remember right, 265/70/16 is the stock Pre-Runner size. They don't look too small with a 2.5... I am debating what I want to do for my truck. I'm thinking about the Toytec 3" coilover/AAL kit, but was unsure how it'd look with the stock size wheels.

My rear springs are worn out (114k miles) and I put the $30 helper spring on to confirm/ test and it's made a huge difference, but I know it's a very short term bandaid. The 3" probably would look fine. I don't want to go to bigger wheels as I want to keep MPG as good as possible. I don't crawl or mud, just snow and sand, so stock size works for me.

yea i dont wheel at all in my taco, thats what the blue POS in the background is for lol, and 265/70s were the stock size (or thats what it says in the doorjam.)....mpgs are not a real big deal to me i just like the looks of big tires. sometime down the road imma get some toytec coilovers but for now i like it.
