i thought triple A were the good guys

- so there was at mountain high california, parked the tacoma on the lot so i could play in the snow. only to hear 20 mins later that AAA towing another truck had backed into my taco! the damage was done to the back right side on the bed where the bumper is. ill shows pics later, im at work right now.

the damage to the taco wasnt severe but emtionally it was, i wanted to knock that tow driver out...

went the collsion center of toyota and the did a rough estimate of 1800$ which AAA would pay for all of it. what luck do i have....
man the process is such a hassle with insurances, money and stuff!

 

Was it actually AAA? Typically, they use local "contractors" (garages/tow companies) to do the work.

 

How badly did he mess up the vehicle he was picking up?

Normally, the tow drivers aren't actually AAA 'owned'. They're contracted by AAA.

I know it sucks - but - shit happens. Be very very happy that AAA is paying for everything. You should be able to get it fixed without any hassles.
