The second California mission was originally founded 5 miles north, but moved here in 1710. The church was built from 1744 to 1758, and remains as the finest preserved stone mission in Baja California. GPS: 25°51'36.9" 111°32'37.0"

Well, some are... and many aren't because they were in remote areas, or damaged by earthquakes, or made of adobe instead of stone.

I am co-authoring a new book on ALL the California missions from the tip of Baja to San Francisco Bay! I know this has been brought up before, but Ill be installing my uca's on Saturday so I need to know a good, cheap place to bring it too for alignment.

 

I would suggest firestone and get the lifetime alignment. A little more up front, but it pays off in the long run,

 

firestone or right there in el cajon is a place called true line if i remember correctly...

 

I plan on doing that in the long run, but after uca's, alignment, and Im due for a oil change, Im gonna be a little broke . Do you know how much they charge for a one time?

I had an appointment for True Line on Kearny Villa Rd. The manager had told me on the phone a day earlier that if I was there when they opened at 8am, it would take an hour and would cost $60. I showed up, they gave me an invoice for $150 and told me it should be done by 3pm.... I left and went to Mission Village Auto on Mission Gorge Rd, recommended by Discount Tire (where I bought my tires). I walked right in, my truck was immediately thrown on the rack, an hour and $60 later I was golden. I highly recommend these guys. In fact, I just got a call from them the other day to see if I was satisfied with the work performed. The answer is yes!
