Running through that water would be tricky..have read that it all depends on the timing too on how hard it can be.

math (algebra in this case) is my kriptonite. I can do pretty much anything else, but i just cant get math, and i simply cant fail math 143 again, i need it as a pre req. Its early enough if i can fix my fucked up hw schedule and should be able to keep a passing grade. i just hate how everything is all online now, homeworks, quizzes, papers...i like having them assigned and discussed in class, not on 3 differnent class room sites. its such a cluster fuck

i used to play the trumpet

not to mention today my phone touch screen went dead and doesent work anymore, so i need to get a new phone asap, and my lap top out of nowhere decided to stop connecting to any interent. doesen't even detect my home wireless network, and doesent connect to the internet even when i have an ethernet cable in it..so that thing is useless until i figure out whats wrong. im on a shitty slow borrowed laptop for the time being.

haha oh ya man. i played it for a while, since like 4th or 5th grade till 12th. I was pretty good and well above average until high school, then i moved, quit taking private lessons, and quit caring and became pretty average haha. In hs (10th to 12th) i played in the marching band at a brand new school. 1st year we came in last in just about everything (missed most of that year cuz i broke my foot), 2nd year we got our 1st 1st place and 2nd (in class) in the big comp at the end of the year. Then my last year, we sweeped just about every comp and got 1st in class at the big important comp at the end of the year. I certainly did it all for the fun of the group i was with, all of my friends, hanging out at games and going on trips. I know it wasn't really my cup of tea, but i had a pretty good time.

Yea i have been on some cool stuff just cause of my horn.

I hate marching band tho..sucks..no musicality to it IMO haha but thats pretty cool tho regardless. We don't have it at my college. We have what we call Show Band. Its a mini pep band of full rhythm section and only 2 trumpets, 2 saxes, and a T bone. Freaking so much fun haha we write all our own tunes or do covers. Its fun. Plus..get paid 50 bucks a gig

We never did marching band competitions. Just band a jazz band festivals. Jazz band is my fav. Nothing like playing lead trumpet in a big band man..so fun.

lol..dude those guys still are more athletes then musicians.

They still just play as loud as they can. It takes more skill and musicallity to play slow..

also..hate to break it to you, but those guys at 3:03 were playing picalo trumpets, the notes they hit..really not that high for a piccalo..just saying..there are lead jazzers that nail stuff higher on a normal trumpet..sounds way cooler haha

don't get me wrong..those guys are good, very very good. But still more athletic then musicians IMO.

    This guy..Freak trumpet player..

    listen through 6:00 at least..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fW6Ly_THQ4k

Thats real playing..the whole band is so emtional..just awesome.

I was adding some oil to my car cuz it seems to be eating it and I looked underneath to see if was leaking any into the drive way and noticed that one of my cv boots looks like it exploded... there is grease all over. I didn't see a tear or anything in it, although I didn't look very closely. Well I just watched a video on how to swap a boot and the guy straight up said that he wouldn't bother. haha 2 reasons. 1: most of the time, by the tie you notice the boot is bad, the joint is already clicking and not worth rebooting. 2. CV joints can take a lot of abuse before they break. He said if it clicks when you are driving straight, they it's time to replace the cv axle asap, but if it just clicks while turning and not too loudly then I wouldn't worry about it. haha

Maybe tomorrow I will play with it and see how bad the joint is. Boot is $10, Axle is about $45 online.
