Ordered the ICON 3 Leaf Progressive AAL yesterday from DSM. Should be here this Friday or on Monday. I'll get it installed ASAP. Currently I am running 5100s at 1.75 in the front with stock coils. I am hoping my rig will be sitting level post-install...you can see for yourself the bro lean I got going right now...

If all goes well, next up will be some some 265s...although I may ride these factorys out until they are bald. No use in spending the money on a new set of tires if you dont NEED them....comments/thoughts are appreciated.

I've been reading up on these too. I've been running the single Alcan AAL for the last few years and the ride is pretty stiff and kicks out when hitting bumps in the road on turns. I ended up ordering the Wheelers version of the 3 pack which is pretty much identical to Icons. In fact just put the order in about 5 minutes ago :D

I'm going to keep my overload leaf in because I do haul some heavy loads here and there, but overall just looking for a little more stable/softer ride for daily driving.

That looks like you gained a lot more than 1.75" up front. Could just be the angle of the picture or the camera but that really jacked the nose up quite a bit. Are you sure you used the 1.75 setting and not the 2.5 (or that the coil seat is right-side-up?

You're going to love the Icon AAL. I've had mine in for over a year and it's holding up great and still rides like it did on day 1.

That could be due to the shocks, rather the springs. What rear shocks are you running?

Just the stock shocks in rear. I have Icons up front (rebuilt Leepers), any suggestions to match up the rear with my front coilovers. Good ol' Bilsteins?

Yea bro I made sure if was at 1.75 prior to install..It's probably the angle of the photo although I did get some significant lift in the front...thanks for posting both pics like that.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Just did the same thing only the Tundy versions. I put them on this past Sunday. Mine was also kicking out too. It did stop that. I also noticed my upper shock mounts were loose on both sides (Billie 5100's). I'm debating on replacing them with 5150's.

Sorry for the thread jack OP. NICE TRUCK!!!!

Cool, just making sure. It certainly wouldn't be the first time it happened on TW! Are you leaving the overload in place with the AAL or no?

Icon makes a nice rear shock too.

Right on, I'll just put the 3 pack aal in and see from there. If the hopping is still there than I'll look into shocks. My current Alcan single AAL with non TSB stock leafs with stock shocks is stiff, great for tight turns on perfect smooth pavement.

I have the Icon's along with the 5100's at 1.75. Check my gallery for pics. I like the leaf pack.

Well I was going to to but the dude I talked to at DSM this morning (Sonny I think) said that he wouldn't recommend running it like that even though a lot of people on here do...I wouldn't mind the extra lift but ride quality means more to me than anything...plus I don't wanna have any rake.
