If Apple is going to put it in your butt, you gotta pay.

I have been waiting for it to be released for a while and I can't wait to pick one up next month. I love my Droid but I want to switch it up.

The best thing I saw in the whole presentation was the reversible connector. Everything else was normal spec bumps and ho-hum features they're playing catch up with.

So the connector is the only new thing; everything else makes the iPhone 5 equivalent to the Galaxy S3 (hardware wise)?

    I am dissappoint.

Damn thing looks almost the same as the iPhone 4...Samsung Galaxy S3 FTW.

I've owned the iPhone for some time...switched to the Galaxy S3 recently and the iPhone doesn't even come close IMO. What the iPhone has going for it is the "experience" as well as a larger app database; however, Google's Play Store isn't far behind from what I've experienced thus far.

Out of curiosity was this the "lets compare the iPhone to everything else" thread?

    Just wondering.

compared to what? the tablet phones that some people have? My wife has a galaxy sII and its freaking massive. I would never want to own a phone that large. Im no apple fanboy but i feel like the size of my iphone4 is the perfect size for me nad fits in my pockets just fine with a bumper case on it

I was joking. If you're holding it sideways it would be like 2" high haha. Although personally I'm the opposite end of the size opinion. I have a Galaxy Nexus and I'd never want anything smaller (although I wouldn't want larger either). I don't notice it in my pocket anymore than any other phone I used to have. I'm not a blanket apple hater but there's never been anything that's made me wanna switch. I wanted something with a larger screen plus 4g when I got this last year so the iPhone was never really an option.

I'm sure plenty do want a smaller phone but I see a lot of people who just use that as an excuse to the screen on the previous ones being smaller. Or they just grossly exaggerate the size of some Android phones. A coworker used to always make the size comments til I actually told her to try my phone and seeing that she could easily use it with one hand she conceded it didn't feel much different. I think most apple people will welcome the larger screen size.

no worries, Josh. Its all personall preference. the iphone4 is the first real smart phone ive ever had. before this it was a blackberry. The only reason I got the iphone was bc a friend was selling it cheap...haha But so far its been a great phone and hasnt let me down in the 2 years Ive had it.

back on topic I dont think I would get the iphone5...no need. I always wondered why people got the 4S :notsure: people with more money than sense?
