Im so stoked for for Whipsaw next year. Either way im doing it. Was suppose to do it last month but my buddy isnt finished his sas yet. Actually i know some guys who are running it this weekend.. So jealous

and yea i know that they go forever. Read several ppl wheel with them blown for thousands of miles. Hell ive had one blown since it rolled and i wheeled the piss out my truck in august..no problems..I'll still reboot them tho once i get some OEM CVs again tho.

lets staring in Moab..run a few trails..end by taking the Kokopelli out to Grand junction..then go wheel at 14,000 feet some where..then go to lander..then boulder..then Compressor creek..then whipsaw...

Oh come on snow kicks ass you just gotta get wide tires and air down to like 5 psi and then use them there crawl gears.. unless it's powder then it's balls to the wall.

 

yea those skinny ass tires of his cut right through the snow! worked great!...till it got deeper then 8'' haha

well..id guess not in super deep snow..therefore you want to cut through the snow.


on different not. My new axe came! they gave me a new one no questions asked! took a long time..but still got it..

 

Yeah I've always heard tall and skinny for snow. The skinny cut through snow way easier and the tall is to clear the snow so your axles and body aren't pushing as much, but you can only make your rig so tall, so to do really deep snow you need a super light rig with really wide tires and drop the psi to help widen them out even more to the point that you can ride on the snow.

Both have their flaws as well though. haha. I'll stick to tall and skinny, cuz when you get stuck it is about how people normally get stuck. If you fall in the snow you are riding on with wide tires and you are most likely fucked! My dad used to do this in his 85 Toyota Corolla. He took that thing some crazy places cuz it was so light that it would ride on the snow, but one time we hit a soft spot and the car broke through the snow and was stuck as shit. 4 mile walk later we knocked on a farmers door and he brought a tractor to get us out. haha

 

Goodbye fuel economy, hello massive amounts of rubbing. haha.
