    well i just got offered to swap bumpers with a non-chrome one this weekend so I might be doing that instead. I will let everyone who wants to know

    I have absolutely zero knowledge of electrical, and this was my first mod. Went easily. The only thing I could suggest is you might want to make the wires about 3 inches longer to help it fit in behind the structure of the stereo a bit better.

    I could help you with the install if you wanted. It took me about 20 minutes bymyself.

    I just read thru the install guide again, seems pretty straight forward. I will probably do it at work and use the soldering gear there. If I can't figure it out I'll give you a shout. Did you use an inline fuse when you installed yours? The guide recommends a 1amp in line fuse. I don't think I have ever seen one so small. Where it's just an led it will probably be okay without one.
