    I will not drive a Chevy. The LR makes me nervous with the reliability and cost of repair. The Liberty is a great choice. I have always liked them.

    John, we rented a Liberty for a week in Arizona a while back, didn't care for it at all. Very noisy and not very comfortable. When my 97 Tacoma got bought back on the frame rust they gave me a Rav 4 to drive for a month or so. I would not hasitate to get one if I didn't want/need a pickup.

    I think the key to Subies is wheel base. As much as I loved my Subie (Impreza) it rode so rough...full size Outbacks are much more comfortable.

    What aboot a VW Tiguan or whatever they are...test drove one once, very comfy.
